Polcenigo

Polcenigo is a village of 3,165 residents in the province of Pordenone, which is 18km away, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The territory is home to numerous examples of natural beauty: the Buco del Gorgazzo, the «Bus» celebrated by the words of anonymous poets and depicted by Luigi Nono; the Palù, one of the 111 European alpine pile-dwelling sites, named an UNESCO site in 2011; the sources of the Livenza and the «Santissima» rivers; and the S. Floriano park, an extraordinary environmental area and the only rural park in Italy.
