Every year, Fondazione Elpis invites 20 Italian and international artists, including both emerging and well-known names, to create site-specific projects that unite the whole of Italy by means of a special cultural itinerary. They are selected for the diversity of their practice and research, with the aim of offering an extensive panorama of the contemporary art scene: from painting to sculpture, from photography to video, from installation to sound art and performance. After a period of residence in the village, the artists work on the production of an art project through interaction with the local context.

Una Boccata d’Arte offers an opportunity to experiment, use new materials, conduct personal research in an environmental context and engage with an unexplored dimension; it is an invitation to listen, to dialogue and to freedom of expression.
